DECAF Afterwork x gavie

On March 19, GAVIE teamed up with D stands for—the coffee roaster behind our current batch—and MANANA Café to host Decaf Afterwork & Tasting. What began as a simple idea—bringing decaf coffee and craft gin together—turned into a full house and one of those evenings people didn’t want to leave.

Guests dropped in after work and naturally moved between coffee tastings and cocktails. On one side, selected decaf roasts to explore; on the other, GAVIE gin served neat and in drinks like the Decaf Espresso Martini, Gin & Tonic, and a smooth virgin espresso martini. It was all about experiencing the journey from bean to bottle in a relaxed, easy way.

MANANA’s cozy café atmosphere set the tone. No pressure, no structure—just people connecting, trying things, and staying longer than planned. There was a lot of laughing, a lot of smiling, and a steady buzz of conversations flowing across the room.

The response was exactly what we hoped for. Guests were genuinely surprised by the depth of the decaf coffee, and even more by how naturally it paired with gin. What might have sounded unexpected on paper felt effortless in real life.

More than anything, the evening brought people together. New connections were made, ideas were exchanged, and the energy in the room felt open and warm from start to finish.

A full house, great feedback, and a lot of happy faces—this one was special.
